Form and material

Form

The short-necked jar has slightly rounded belly and the neck is belt-like. It sits on a small indented base, and on one side of the neck is a small handle of the “Nahçevan” type which has lost its functionality.

Fabric

It has a dark grey core, with dense sand and stone inclusions.

Slip

The pot has been well-burnished, with black shiny outer surface and light grey lightly burnished inner surface. It
