The jar has a wide mouth and short neck, andhas an underbody that continues sharply down to a small base.

Fabric

The core is dark grey, with dense sand and stone inclusions.

Slip

the jar has been burnished extremely well. It has a bright black outer surface, and a light grey, lightly burnished inner surface.
